IB Psych Hub (ibpsychhub.com) is an independent educational platform for IB Psychology students, operated by an IB Psychology teacher based in Hong Kong. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO).

2. What Data We Collect

We collect the following personal data when you use IB Psych Hub:

• Account information: your name and email address, provided when you log in via Manus OAuth
• Profile information: your school name and role (student or teacher), provided during onboarding
• Practice answers: the text you submit in practice exercises, stored to show you your answer history and AI feedback
• Usage data: pages visited and interactions, collected anonymously for analytics purposes

We do not collect payment information, government-issued identification, or sensitive personal data.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data solely to:

• Provide access to the platform and its features
• Save your practice answers and AI feedback for your personal review
• Send you a welcome email when you first register
• Send occasional platform updates or newsletters (you may opt out at any time)
• Improve the platform through anonymous usage analytics

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. AI Processing

When you submit a practice answer for AI marking, your answer text is sent to a third-party AI language model provider for processing. This data is used solely to generate feedback on your answer and is not used to train AI models or shared with other users. We recommend you do not include personally identifiable information in your practice answers.

5. Data Retention

Your account data and practice answers are retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at [email protected]. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

6. Cookies

IB Psych Hub uses a session cookie to keep you logged in. This cookie is essential for the platform to function and does not track you across other websites. We also use anonymous analytics cookies to understand how the platform is used in aggregate. No advertising or tracking cookies are used.

7. Your Rights

Under the Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (PDPO) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate personal data
• Request deletion of your personal data
• Withdraw consent to marketing emails at any time

8. Security
